IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR HERITAGE SPEAKERS:
1.) If you are a heritage speaker of Spanish and are enrolled in 1441, you should not be taking the beginner Spanish course for non-native speakers. Take the CLEP test and place out of as many as 4 levels AND get letter grade credit that counts in your GPA! FULL INFORMATION IN THIS FILE:

2.) To heritage speakers already enrolled in SPAN 2314: If you are a heritage speaker of Spanish (i.e., you understand Spanish well and speak fairly fluently, but you need to take this level course for credit), you SHOULD be enrolled in a section of SPAN 2315, which is designed for heritage speakers and which addresses your specific needs with respect to grammar and composition. Courses in SPAN 2315 are offered at these days and times for the Fall 2015 semester:
SPAN 2315-001 MWF 11-11:50 a.m.
SPAN 2315-003 T-Th 5:30 – 6:50 p.m.
